The fourth DIVERSIFOOD annual meeting was held in Seville, Spain, from 28 to 30 January 2019. It was the last project meeting, aiming to sum up the main results.

On June 4-5 2018 the LINKAGES Final Workshop was be held in Florence to discuss the interactions between the on farm communities in Europe and the ex situ conservation communities, such as germplasm banks.

On April 11th 2018, the DIVERSIFOOD Forum with policy makers and stakeholders was held in Brussels. Proceedings are available!

On November 27th 2017 the DIVERSIFOOD Workshop "Enabling Crop Biodiversity on the Market" was held in Brussels.

On 16-18 November 2017 DIVERSIFOOD partner CSIC contributed to the event “Agroaccion”, on faba bean and spelt.

On November 11th 2017, the  workshop "Experiences of Agro-biodiversity valorisation in Europe" was organized by Regione Toscana at the Alberese Farm. DIVERSIFOOD Italian partner Rete Semi Rurali participated presenting the project work on cereals.

From October 30th to November 3rd 2017, FAO’s Seventh Session of the Government Body of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agricolture took place in Kigali, Rwanda. The Fridtjof Nansen Institute (FNI) - partner of DIVERSIFOOD - attended the conference and on November 1st organized the side event "Community Seed Banks: Sharing Experiences from North and South".

The Global Diversity Foundation organized the 1st European Community Exchange (ECE) on seed diversity and sovereignty from Saturday 23rd September to Wednesday 27th September 2017 in Barcelona. DIVERSIFOOD partners from Rete Semi Rurali, Red Andaluza de Semillas, Pro Specie Rara and Arche Noah attended the event presenting the project results on Community Seed Banks.

On September 22nd 2017 DIVERSIFOOD organized the "Community Seed Banks" workshop at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome, Italy. The workshop was planned as a dialogue forum with participation of CSB initiatives from all over the world.

On September 21st 2017, the "Community Seed Banks" Preparatory Workshop was held at  CasAcli in Rome, Italy. The outcomes of this workshop served as an input for the workshop on September 22nd at FAO Headquarters.

The Conference “Crop Diversification in a Changing World. Mobilizing the green gold of plant genetic resources” took place in Montpellier, France, from 8 to 11 May 2017.

On March 28th 2017 some of the DIVERSIFOOD partners met in Pisa the consortium of CAPSELLA, a "sister" project aiming at developing novel ICT solutions tailored to the needs and requirements of farmers communities and networks and other actors engaged in agrobiodiversity.

The second DIVERSIFOOD annual meeting was held in Bologna, Italy, From 21 to 23 February 2017, to sum up the results of the first two years of the project.

A DIVERSIFOOD workshop on "Enabling Crop Biodiversity on the Market" was organized in Helsinki on 22-23 November by ESVY - Southern Finland Organic Farmers Association, FOPA - Finnish Organic Farmers Alliance, Kymi Organic Coop, Kuhilas Ry and Arche Noah.

The DIVERSIFOOD Biodiversity Management and Food Supply Chain Meeting was held on 19-20 September 2017 in Florence.

The 1st DIVERSIFOOD Annual Meeting was held in Nicosia, Cyprus from 16 to 18 February 2016.

DIVERSIFOOD kick-off meeting was held from 27 to 29 April 2015 in Saint-Gildas de Rhuys, France.
